Delivering real-time, interactive computing to millions of users globally relies on a highly optimized, geographically distributed architecture. Processing player inputs and streaming high-resolution video requires placing compute power as physically close to the user as possible. To support its rapidly growing player base across Western Europe and the broader region, Boosteroid, a global provider of large-scale distributed GPU platforms, has significantly expanded its strategic partnership with French data center operator DC2SCALE in Q1 2026.
By establishing a robust, multi-site footprint in France, Boosteroid is actively scaling the highly specialized, GPU-centric infrastructure required to power its flagship cloud gaming service. This deployment meets the immediate consumer demand for low-latency gaming, and it also serves as a live production environment that validates Boosteroid's capacity to handle compute-intensive, edge workloads at scale.
A resilient, multi-site architecture
Boosteroid's initial deployment with DC2SCALE was in the Paris-region facility, which served as a vital anchor for routing traffic throughout Western Europe, providing the high-density colocation power and bandwidth necessary for latency-critical, always-on systems.
Building on the success of that initial integration, the two companies have deepened their collaboration to scale across the region. Boosteroid executed a major capacity expansion, deploying additional GPU servers in strategic French locations.
Alongside the expansion in Paris, Boosteroid also worked with DC2SCALE to deploy additional GPU capacity in Marseille. Positioned at the crossroads of major international subsea cables, this location acts as a critical gateway connecting Southern Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. By scaling up high-density server clusters in both cities at the same time, Boosteroid significantly reduces latency across borders and ensures stable, high-performance streaming for a wider user base.
A partnership built on operational excellence
Deploying custom-designed GPU hardware at scale requires agile data center management and precisely coordinated logistics. Throughout the expansion, DC2SCALE proved to be a highly reliable infrastructure partner, working closely alongside Boosteroid's engineering team.
"At Boosteroid, we rely on partners who understand the strict power and network demands required to deliver ultra-low latency to players worldwide, and DC2SCALE has been exactly that kind of partner," notes Antonina Batova, Senior Vice President of Infrastructure at Boosteroid.
"Hosting Boosteroid's high-density GPU clusters means delivering flawless performance every second of every day, and that is precisely what our French facilities are engineered to do," adds Gautier MARSOT--LEMAIRE, Managing Director at DC2SCALE.
Infrastructure truly built to scale
Running interactive cloud gaming is a formidable technical challenge that demands massive power and cutting-edge hardware. By successfully deploying these high-density clusters within DC2SCALE's facilities, Boosteroid is actively demonstrating its custom GPU architecture and orchestration capabilities under the strictest real-time conditions.
The infrastructure hosted by DC2SCALE is engineered to handle these massive data throughputs flawlessly. While dedicated to gaming, the sheer processing power and energy efficiency of these GPU-dense server racks highlight Boosteroid's underlying capability to support highly demanding, next-generation compute requirements.
